YippieIO, the on site installation unit of Contagious Media, is the quality control division in charge of design installation and calibration of Home and Business media solutions. We make the transition from analog media distribution systems to High Definition Home Theater Systems easy. Today’s consumer of electronic TV distribution systems is well versed on the choices of the personal component that will make up their listening and viewing experience. Setting up devices so components work in concert is our forte.
High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) technology was envisioned with the concept of a Digital Buss System. High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) works in a similar fashion to the way computers are networked together to share information and protect settings. Components are able to “talk” to each other. The combination of the interface and the protocol allow components to “play nice” together while securing distributed content. Computer networks provide the link to stored content on personal computers that becomes readily available for sharing across media extenders to the media rooms big screen.
